Nonsensical Meanderings of T

Friday is my last day at my current place of employment. I’ve been there 4 years so this is actually something significant happening in my life. And it’s been a rough 4 years. The atmosphere at my company is not something you would call healthy. For example, in my department alone we’ve lost over 42 employees. Some were let go but most of them left on their own accord. 42. That number also includes 8 supervisors. I don’t think this is an acceptable number but apparently my company does. Oh yeah, and my department currently consists of about 13 people. We’re not a huge department. 42 people - insane.

Well starting Monday it’s not my problem anymore. I’m moving on to greener pastures, higher pay, 4 day work weeks, casual dress and big budget movies. Oh yeah, and when I say greener pastures I mean Beverly Hills.

Not bad for a girl from Missouri.
